 They get a lot of traders going there to buy to sell on, so they have limits in place for them I guess.

That's some good coin actually if you're a fund raiser, and you can sell them individually at a charity event or something. :shifty:

You reminded me with saying that, they have a few tables full of bits like sweets pop etc at the front of the shops after you get through checkout and you can pay whatever you want for things, he even said you can pay nothing if you want and just take them, but theres a catch, the tub to put money in for those items goes to Bluebell Wood childrens hospice, so you inevitably end up paying more than they would be anyway
Oh they have fruit and veg on the same deal too, but that at least has recommended donations, you can get like a huge box of tomatoes for £2 if they're fresh that day or £1 a couple days later, good for your 5 a day :+

When I was a kid, I remember our old youth pastor would always bring in deals like this, and sometimes even van loads of food for the sake of selling everything at absurd prices just to bring in a little extra money for the church. :shifty:

The normal little ones you get at Xmas over here :+
On a similar theme, I bought some unbranded "dessert pockets" from there yesterday, mainly cos they were 50p for 8, got a little concerned at the "deep fry for 6 minutes at 180c" bit, deep fry a pudding :yikes: anyway turns out they are the McDonalds Festive Pies, so now we know what McD's does with them after Xmas
